Sit, have a coffee, a snack and watch as I will be making a hand held frame drum. Come early or stay after the presentation and peruse what these good folks have to offer. They specialize in organic, local, fair trade and low waste products, with a bulk refillery store on one side, and a cozy cafe on the other.
Also check out Karlie Marrazzo's artwork while you are here.

Frame Drum Trouble Making coming soon. Stay tuned.
Please consider these rules before coming to this circle.
I did a Google search and this is an AI overview.
Drum circle rules focus on community, respect, and shared rhythm rather than individual performance. Key etiquette includes listening more than playing, matching the group’s volume, avoiding metal jewelry that can damage drums, and asking permission before playing someone else’s instrument. The goal is to support the collective groove.
Core Drum Circle Etiquette & Rules
• Listen First, Play Later: Before joining in, listen to the rhythm, tempo, and volume to find a place to fit in.
• Play at Group Volume: Do not overpower others. If you cannot hear the person next to you, you are playing too loudly.
• Respect Instruments: Never play or touch someone else's drum without asking permission first.
• Leave Space: Do not fill every second with notes. Silence is also part of the music.
• Soloing Etiquette: Do not solo at the same time as someone else. Keep solos short and share the space.
• Avoid Jewelry: Remove rings, watches, and bracelets, as they can damage drum heads.
• Keep the Beat: If you are a beginner, look for the "heartbeat" drummer (usually an experienced player) and match their tempo.
• Leave Egos Outside: Drum circles are for collective expression, not competition.
• Join Safely: Do not jump into a seat that someone just left, as they may be coming back.
Respect the Circle: If you must have a conversation, leave the physical circle to talk.

In the center of the big city an oldish man lives in a house with an orange cat. There are treasures here beyond belief; well actually it’s not that hard to believe. Along with the Horse, Bison, Cow and Deer hides that are wanting to be turned into drums, there are frames from 14.5" to 18". The frames are made from Western Red Cedar and are either oiled or flamed. Contact the oldish man to request the hide, size and finish you want(limited quantities).
If you’re ready to make a drum of your own, I will be hosting a 4 hour workshop at the house with the orange cat. Tools and materials are supplied. All you have to bring is your willingness.
If one person registers
